ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:
Fredi Jakob, Weidmann Diagnostic Solutions Inc. - Dr. Fredi Jakob is a Technical Consultant for Weidmann Diagnostic Solutions Inc., a long-term member of ASTM and IEEE and author of over 50 published articles.  He is a traveling lecturer to private and governmental agencies and has been invited to speak at Doble and AVO conferences, NETA, EPRI and American Public Power meetings and ASTM symposia.  Dr. Jakob was the founder of Analytical ChemTech International, Inc. (ACTI) and served as Professor of Analytical Chemistry at California State University, Sacramento for 36 years. 

John Pruente,  High Voltage Supply - John Pruente is the Director of Engineering Support for both High Voltage Supply and Waukesha Electric Service.  Before that John was Director of Engineering & Sales for High Voltage Supply (A division of Waukesha Electric Systems).  He worked for Duke Energy from 1987-1999 with responsibility for all aspects of transformer maintenance, including: Determining maintenance criteria for transformers; Developing new maintenance methods and standards; Failure analysis and reporting; Technical support to transformer maintenance crews; Troubleshooting Load Tap Changer problems in the field; Review and interpretation of Doble & DGA test results; Writing field maintenance procedures.  He received his BSEE degree from Oakland University,  MI.
